Today we were up in sunny Edinburgh to attend the unveiling of a mural down the road from one of our newest residences, Brae House. So new in fact, it’s not even finished!
The mural depicts elements of the site’s history and includes contributions from:
- The Student Housing Company
- Network Rail
- Car Tuning Clinic
- Cable Com
- Abbeyhill Primary School
- Watkins Jones
- Blackwells Books
- Adult Community Volunteers
- Croft an Righ Consultation Group
- Cllr Karen Doran
We chose a messy student room (bottom right), an image we think will stand the test of time! But in all seriousness (and we don’t do serious very often,) the project’s aim was to deter misuse of graffiti on the bridge and give something to the community that will be long lasting.
We are very happy to be working with our new neighbours on the project, and want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who was involved in the project for all their hard work and time.
